There are two separate hostels of this college, one for Boys and other for Girls. The Girl and Boy students who come from far-off nook of this region may seek admission to either Acharya B. N.Seal College Girls’ Hostel or Nipendra Narayan Memorial Boys’ Hostel respectively subject to the availability of seats.
The college Boys’ Hostel is a residence of meritorious students from distant neighboring area of the district. The life in this hostel develops academic intelligence as well as social consciousness and creativity of mind. The first students’ protest against military autocracy was initiated by the boarders during the British Raj on 8th August, 1946. The Hostel Building is a unique piece of traditional architecture in the skyline of Cooch Behar. It is compulsory for all students to vacate their hostel seats after three years of admission. This period will not be extended under any circumstances.
A.B.N Seal College Girls’ Hostel is meant for regular female students of this college. Boarders must obey the following rules and regulations as also those which the Principal of the college or the Superintendent of the hostel may enforce from time to time. The rules laid down here, come into force with immediate effect. It is compulsory for all students to vacate their hostel seats after three years from the time of admission. This period will not be extended under any circumstances.
